Bonkee attended our Miami Meetup over the weekend with Mommie Michelle and he was styling in his yellow bandana! Can you spot Bonks below?

My neck has been getting so much better that I'm allowed to have my own bulldog pillow! My pillow has the face of a bulldog on it with a crown because I am mommy's little prince. I spend all my time in my crate ever since I got my new pillow.

One day, mommy bought these little booties for me b/c she thought they would look funny on my paws.

What the heck are these things doing on my paws? Mommy is crazy!

Congrats to foster mommy Michelle on her adoption of Bonkee! Bonkee is finally in his forever home after a very rough start in life. Our first rescue of 2008, Bonkee will now be able to life a happy life and definitely one more comfortable than when we rescued him. Now that all Bonkee's medical issues have been addressed we are hoping it'll be smooth sailing from here on out! Thanks to all that have supported Bonkee during his time in our care. We will update his blog occasionally as updates are sent to us from Mommy Michelle :)

I went to my Foster Grandma's house this weekend. I had lots of fun and I even got to play football! At the end of the day, I was pooped! I also got to see my old friend, Mr. Hose. I'll have those pics for you soon. I miss you very much!

Bonkee

Bonkee is doing great! He's taking his pill once a day now. I think the medicine is doing great because he hardly has any gook in his eyes. He has learned that he gets a treat after he takes his meds. Today I went to the sink to wash my hands after giving him his ointment and when I turned around he had his nose pressed against the cabinet where his treats are kept. I talk to him a lot and I swear he understands everything I tell him. If I say excuse me he'll move out of the way. Yesterday, my friend's nephew came over to see him (he's 17). Bonkster didn't growl at him or anything but he always stood in front of me and guarded me. I was surprised because he's always very friendly to whomever he meets but I guess since he was inside the house he felt like he had to be my bodyguard. He follows me around everywhere and I miss him so much that I think I'm going to take him to work with me tomorrow. =)

Whooo Hoooo! My friend Chunk's mommy, Gabby, sent a monetary gift to me thru paypal just now! Thank you so much Auntie Gab! She knows me and my water obsession all to well. The donation came with a note that read: " Go buy little Bonks a Clown Fountain or a Slip & Slide!"

I am having a good time at Mommy Michelle's house. You can usually find me following Mommy Michelle or snoozing in the sunlight under one of the windows. I've been such a good boy that Mommy took me to work on Friday. All day long I slept under Mommy's desk while blowing out big, bully farts! Here I am just waiting for Mommy to pet me!

Mommy wanted to show you my eyes. Good news! She thinks the one on the right doesn't look so red anymore. I kept barking at the camera. I told her, "No close ups, please!"

There's another bully in the neighborhood and the other day I was nice to him until he got too close. That bully is 7 months old but we're the same size so I had to show him I was tougher. Today I saw him again and Mommy kept me behind her. His Mommy and my Mommy talked for awhile and I did very good. I didn't even bark! Mommy was so proud of me. Today we're having a lazy Sunday but Mommy is going to take me for a car ride in a little bit. Always interrupting my naps! I hope to see you soon.

My new mommy, mommy Michelle picked me up today and I'm off to her house! Wish me luck, if all goes well, this could be my forever home and not just my foster home!

Update from Bonkee at Mommy Michelle's: Well, five minutes after I left, I let out a big, stinky fart! All I do is follow around Mommy Michelle. I've been fed, I've pooped, and I even took my prednisone! Mommy Michelle left me alone in my crate for about an hour and I did fine. I got a nice walk after I pooped and now I'm sleeping so basically it's back to business as usual. =)
